We read about the early church, how it started, and how they conducted themselves in Acts 2:42-47:

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. 43 A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. 44 And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. 45 They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. 46 They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— 47 all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.

In Acts 10, we read about Cornelius and how he invited his friends and family to his home so they could hear Peter’s message about Jesus. At The GOTE, we strive to follow the example of the early church in all that we do, and we warmly invite you and your family to come worship the Lord with us!

The early church shared meals and spent quality time together so they could build relationships and encourage one another in their faith. Our gatherings typically last about two hours and include a shared meal, communion, worship through music, Bible study, and a time of prayer.

When we study God’s Word, you are not just a listener—you are a participant. You are welcome to ask questions or share your thoughts at any time. Our desire is for you to understand God’s Word, grow in your relationship with Him, and be strengthened in your faith.

The early church broke bread together in remembrance of Jesus’ death, just as He commanded them to do. We also share in communion and invite all who have placed their faith in Christ to participate.

At The GOTE, we believe in the power of prayer. During our gatherings, we take time to share prayer requests, pray for specific needs, and lift one another up before God’s throne, trusting that He hears us and answers according to His will.

What has God done in your life? We would love to hear about it! During our gatherings, we set aside time for anyone who would like to share what God is doing in their life and how He has been working in and through them.

Do you play an instrument or sing? We encourage you to use the talents the Lord has given you to glorify Him. Maybe you draw, paint, or write poetry! Whatever your gifts may be, we would love for you to share your talents with us at The GOTE.
